Located in Los Angeles’ Century City neighborhood, this two-story residence sits on a sloped 7,500 SF corner lot surrounded by mature green landscaping. The design draws the outdoors into the home, creating a strong indoor-outdoor connection through expansive glazing and generous terraces.
The residence includes five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, a gym, recreation room, and media room. The main living spaces extend directly into the backyard, which features outdoor dining and lounge areas, a barbecue, and a pool.
A restrained palette of warm, earthy materials carries through the interiors, particularly in the kitchen and bathrooms, creating calm spaces that complement the surrounding greenery.
The site slopes laterally, partially exposing the eastern edge of the basement. The design takes advantage of this condition by introducing clerestory windows that bring natural light into the gym and recreation room. The fifth bedroom at the basement level opens directly onto a lightwell, providing additional daylight and natural ventilation.
